From the Archdiocese Of Birmingham
Archbishop Bernard Longley's Christmas Message 2025
In his Christmas message from St Chad’s Cathedral, Birmingham, Archbishop Bernard Longley reflects on Christmas as a true season of hope.
In this Jubilee year, he invites us to see ourselves as pilgrims of hope, journeying together in faith towards Christ, the Prince of Peace.
Drawing on the journeys of the shepherds and the Magi, the Archbishop encourages families and individuals to welcome the presence of the infant Jesus into their homes and hearts, and to share the gift of peace with the world this Christmas.
