Lend a Hand, Change a Life!
Our parish's new St Vincent de Paul team is more than a group, it is a family of everyday heroes looking to make a difference in our community. Whether it’s lending a hand, sharing a smile, or offering support to those in need, our time and kindness can go a long way.
We're looking for volunteers with open hearts and willing hands. No experience needed, just a desire to help!
Come be part of something meaningful. Speak to Regina, Vivien or Keith after Sunday Mass to learn more about being part of something special and heart warming!
Volunteers Needed
Our parish is seeking kind-hearted volunteers to support the work of Father Hudson’s Caritas, the social care arm of the Archdiocese of Birmingham. Their mission is simple but powerful:
- to bring hope, dignity, and companionship to those facing isolation, poverty, or hardship.
Whether it’s lending a hand at local events, befriending someone who’s lonely, or helping older members of our community stay connected, your time can make a real difference.
Why volunteer?
- Make a meaningful impact
- Build friendships and community
- Learn new skills and grow in confidence
If you feel called to serve or want to learn more, please speak to Father Daniel or Keith.
Safer Recruitment Checks
All roles eligible for a DBS must hold a DBS issued within the last three years. If your DBS is still valid (within the last three years), no action is required. If your DBS is older than three years, a new DBS needs to be put in place.
Please note: Due to the likely increase in DBS applications, processing times may be longer than usual. The parish Safeguarding Team appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.
